About

Our model

We operate on a print‑on‑demand basis. Items are produced only after an order is placed — no surplus stock, no speculative production.

This allows us to:

  • Reduce waste and overproduction
  • Keep prices accessible while maintaining quality
  • Offer a wide range of designs, sizes, and colour options

We are also developing a future marketplace to include second‑hand, upcycled pieces and work from sustainable artisans. Get in touch if you want to collaborate!

Our products are

  • Vegan and printed with water‑based inks
  • Made using certified organic or recycled materials
  • Sourced from verified partners with responsible dyeing processes
  • Produced without pesticides, insecticides, or GMOs
  • Aligned with fair working conditions and wages

Each product includes detailed information in the Additional Information tab and in our blog product pages, where we explain materials and certifications in depth.

Our Story

Vestya was created by Diana Matoso (Ds WAY), a gardener, artist and designer born in the ’80s with a DIY attitude and a long-standing awareness of environmental issues, often involved in upcycle and sustainable projects.

Our Values

Natural resources — Protect and regenerate while reducing impact and respecting ecological limits

Transparency & trust — clear information about materials, processes, certifications and limitations

Quality over quantity — fewer made to last products

Circular economy — supporting fairly all intervenient (production workers, artists, donation to reforestation projects)

We do our best to work with partners who share these principles and maintain visibility across their supply chains.

Conscious Consumption

We believe sustainability requires clarity and awareness, so in our blog, we share detailed content about:

  • Materials and fibres
  • Certifications and standards
  • Production partners
  • Environmental impact

This allows you to understand not only what you buy, but how and why it is made.

Our PARTNERS

Artists

We collaborate with independent artists and welcome new contributors. If you’re an illustrator, designer, or creator, you can submit your work to be featured on Vestya by filling up the form here.

Carbon Offset

We donate 15% of each sale’s profit to support Movimento Gaio, a Portuguese reforestation project restoring native ecosystems in Serra da Freita.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Greenhost, a dutch company powered by 100% renewable energy and committed to sustainable infrastructure.

Production

Our main partner is TPOP, providing eco‑responsible products, plastic free packaging and carbon neutral delivery. We sometimes use Printful which unfortunately is not as sustainable but offers unique items.
